Griet Velghe has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Griet started their career in 1997 as a Quality Assurance Industrial Pharmacist at Terumo, where they worked for 4 years. Griet then joined Pfizer in 2001 as a Clinical Trial Quality Support Associate, staying with the company until 2003. In 2004, Griet became the Local Quality Assurance Manager at SGS Life Science Services, a role they held for 7 years. Griet then moved to SGS LSS in 2011, where they worked as a QP/Head of Pharmacy CPU Antwerpent until 2016. Griet is currently the Head QM in Operations at Galapagos, a position they have held since 2016.

Griet Velghe completed their education at KU Leuven. Griet obtained a Master's degree in Pharmacy from 1991 to 1996, and later pursued a specialized degree in Industrial Pharmacist from 1996 to 1997.
