Leon Mol has extensive experience in product safety, sustainability, and agronomy, holding prominent positions at Ahold Delhaize since July 2013, including Director of Global Product Safety, Director of Biodiversity & Product Sustainability, and Director of Product Safety & Social Compliance. In addition to roles at Ahold Delhaize, Leon Mol serves as Vice Chairman of the Board for GLOBALG.A.P. and Chairman of the Board for amfori since March 2023. Previously, Leon Mol was a member of the Executive Committee at SAI Platform and served on the board of directors for the Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef. Leon Mol's career also includes agronomy roles at ICASS and Breeders Trust NV, as well as a Managing Director position at Meijer International B.V. Leon Mol earned a PhD in Agronomy with a focus on Phytopathology from Wageningen University & Research.
