Júlia Reis is a dedicated researcher in International Law currently working at Global Human Rights Defence, focusing on human rights and International Justice in the Americas. Júlia has previous experience as an ESG, Compliance & Corporate Lawyer at Mitsui Rail Capital Participações Ltda., where key responsibilities included managing ESG projects and developing corporate policies. Júlia also gained experience as a Commercial Arbitration Intern at Forgioni Advogados, a Tutor in Law and Gender Fairness at the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de São Paulo, and participated in various internships, including international legal work in intellectual property. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Law from USP, a Licence en Droit from Université Jean Moulin, and ongoing studies towards a Master’s degree in International Law at the Geneva Graduate Institute.
