Rohini Verma has over 17 years of experience in the clinical research and development field. Rohini began their career in 2004 as a Phase II European Clinical Project Manager at Lung Rx. In this role, they were responsible for managing an international clinical trial for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension across 20 sites in 10 countries. Rohini then moved on to SRA Global Clinical Development (formerly Constella Group) in 2008, where they served as a Phase III Global Project Manager for a Medical Devices, Diabetes trial across 5 countries and 19 sites. In 2009, they joined Oxford BioMedica as a Global Clinical Project Manager for Vaccines, Oncology, where they were responsible for managing a cancer vaccine trial across 13 sites in the US and Latin America. In 2013, Rohini joined Shire Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Clinical Scientist, where they were responsible for the planning, implementation, execution and management of clinical research studies, as well as writing synopsis, protocols, informed consent forms and study related plans. In 2014, they moved on to Shionogi Inc. as a Global Clinical Project Manager. Finally, in 2016, they joined Akari Therapeutics PLC as a Director of Clinical Operations, and in 2022, they became the Director of Clinical Operations at GH Research.
Rohini Verma has a Bachelor of Science in Physiology & Pharmacology from UCL. Additionally, they have obtained a Strategic Thinking certification from LinkedIn in January 2021 and an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (INHC) certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in June 2015.
