Artemis Yagou

Research Associate at Deutsches Museum

Artemis Yagou is a Research Associate at Deutsches Museum since October 2016, focusing on the project "Timekeeping in Motion: Technology and Design of 18th c. Portable Clocks from European Museum Collections." Between September 2015 and September 2018, Artemis served as a Senior Researcher at New Europe College, contributing to the international LuxFaSS team, which examined the influence of luxury on the modernization of Europe. Prior roles include Lecturer at MHMK Macromedia University for Media and Communication and Globe Business College Munich, as well as a Guest Researcher and Lecturer at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Artemis was also a Scholar in Residence at Deutsches Museum in late 2011, studying the museum's collection of technical toys, and served as Deputy Course Leader for the Master of Arts in Design at AKTO College in Athens until June 2011. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Design and Visual Communication from the National Technical University of Athens, an MA in Industrial Design from the University of the Arts London, and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
