Sebastian Gombert is a Doctoral Researcher at DIPF | Leibniz-Institut für Bildungsforschung und Bildungsinformation since June 2021, focusing on natural language processing and learning analytics. Previously, Sebastian held positions as a Junior Research Assistant and Tutor at TU Darmstadt, where Sebastian taught Introduction to Linguistics and worked in natural language processing and corpus linguistics from October 2016 to May 2021. Additionally, Sebastian served as a Tutor for the Ethics in NLP lecture and contributed to video and audio production during the summer of 2020. As a co-founder of mediacollective UG from August 2015 to January 2020, Sebastian was involved in web development before the startup was disbanded. Further experience includes roles as IT Administrator for the Student Council at TU Darmstadt, Full-Stack Developer at abius GmbH, and Software Engineer at Sanofi. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Linguistic and Literary Computing and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science & Digital Philology, both from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
