Dan Nemec

Deputy Institute Architect at Georgia Institute of Technology

Dan Nemec, RA, LEED AP, serves as the Deputy Institute Architect at the Georgia Institute of Technology since October 2011, overseeing the Planning and In-house Design teams while advocating for design excellence. Prior experience includes roles such as Associate Director and Lead Campus Planner at GT CPSM and Assistant Director of Capital Planning and Space Management at Lord Aeck Sargent, along with architectural positions at various firms including Plexus R+D and Gruber and Associates. In addition to architectural practice, Dan Nemec has contributed to academia as a Part-Time Lecturer and Studio Instructor at Georgia Tech. Educational qualifications include a Master of Architecture from Rice University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Georgia Tech.
