Mary Shannon is the Director at Midland University. Mary has previously worked as a student at Midlands Technical College, a full-time teacher at Catholic Diocese of Lexington, a transaction coordinator for a KW agent, and an art teacher at Carroll County Middle School. Shannon has also taught at Lumen Christi Catholic School.

Mary Shannon has a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education from the University of Kentucky. Mary also has a South Carolina Manufacturing Certification from Midlands Technical College in MSSC Certified Production Technician. Additionally, they have a High School diploma from Lafayette High School in School for the Creative and Performing Arts with a Visual Arts major. Finally, Mary Shannon is certified by FINRA in Series 7 and Securities Industries Essentials. Mary is also certified by Midlands Technical College in Machining- Conventional Mills, Machining-Conventional Lathes, Blueprint Reading, and Six Sigma Yellowbelt. Furthermore, they are certified by Snap-on Tools in Hand Tools, Electrical Safety, and Digital Multimeters. Finally, they are certified by MSSC in MSSC Certified Production Technician and by OSHA in OSHA 10 hour General Industry Certification (1910).
