Justin Hammerberg

Justin Hammerberg is a Senior Program Assistant at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, focusing on the Forum on Microbial Threats within the Board on Global Health since December 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Program Assistant for the Bureau for Global Health at USAID from January 2019 to November 2021, and as a Legislative Intern with the U.S. House of Representatives in late 2018. Additionally, Justin held the position of Global Health Advocacy Intern at the Fund for Global Health and worked as a Program and Policy Intern at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in 2017. Justin's earlier experience includes a GenSend Internship with the North American Mission Board from June 2014 to August 2016. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Liberty University and attended the Epidemiology and Population Health Summer Institute at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
