Bill McCarty has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Bill began their career at Ford Motor Company, where they held various roles over a span of 17 years. In 2007, they joined MAHLE Industries Inc. as Director of North America Purchasing, where they were responsible for a significant annual purchasing spend and a team of direct reports. In 2014, they moved to Ricardo, Inc. as Director of North America Purchasing, where they built and led the purchasing, supplier quality management, and logistics organization. In 2016, they worked as a Supply Chain & Procurement Consultant at W.D. McCarty Consulting Services before joining George P Johnson Experience Marketing as Director of Procurement, where they were responsible for establishing and coordinating global procurement processes and driving common procurement functions across the organization.
Bill McCarty completed their education as follows:
- From 1980 to 1984, they attended Waynesburg University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.
- Bill then pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia, graduating in 1986.
- Lastly, they earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Wayne State University between 1996 and 1999.
