Nerea Ortega Buenviaje is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and microbiology. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Quality Assurance at Gentell, Inc. since September 2022, Nerea has previously held key positions including Process Quality Manager at Integra LifeSciences and QA/QC Manager at Derma Sciences Inc. Nerea's career began in microbiology roles, starting as a Microbiologist at Agro Filipino and advancing to Senior Microbiologist at Splash Manufacturing Corporation. Nerea also contributed to product development as a Product Development Specialist at Splash Research Institute. Educationally, Nerea holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a focus on Microbiology from the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
