Prior to their real estate and construction roles, Kristoff worked at The Brussels Airport Company as the Head of Airport Development and Regulation, where they were responsible for airport master planning, economic regulation, aviation development projects, landside mobility, key account management, and the Program Management Office.

Kristoff De Winne's education history begins in 1993 when they attended Ghent University and obtained a Master's degree in Sciences, with a focus on Chemistry. Kristoff then continued their studies at the University of Antwerp from 1998 to 1999, where they obtained another Master's degree, this time in Complementary Studies in Management. In 1999, Kristoff enrolled at Vlerick Business School, where they pursued an MBA in General Management, completing it in 2000. Lastly, from 2005 to 2007, they attended the University Antwerp Management School and earned a Master's degree in Real Estate.
