Lauren Hennessy is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in sustainability and public relations. Currently serving as Senior Communications Manager at Genentech since January 2021, Lauren leads strategic communications for the Site Services function, enhancing employee engagement and alignment. Previously, Lauren managed sustainability communications for Roche and held various roles including Outreach and Engagement Manager at Stanford University's Office of Sustainability, and Public Relations Manager at Greenwich House. Lauren's background also includes marketing and social impact at Wacoal America and environmental communications consulting at Eastern Research Group, Inc. Lauren holds a B.A. in Public Relations from the University of Maryland and a Certificate in Sustainability and Behavior Change from UC San Diego.
