Joan Villanova Calatayud is an accomplished agricultural professional with extensive experience in agronomy, product management, and business development. Currently serving as Director De Servicio Agronomico at Fertinagro Biotech since April 2024, Joan oversees technical advisory and agronomic services while applying management and leadership skills to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability. Previously, Joan held key roles such as Director Zona Castellón and Advisor & Founder of Terranabis, the first company specializing in organic products for cannabis cultivation. With a solid academic background, including a PhD in Genetics and Plant Nutrition from Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche, Joan has developed innovative products and strategies in various sectors of agriculture, from biofungicides to biostimulants, while contributing to research on food stability and environmental impact.
