Richard Lamberst is an experienced professional in local governance and communications, currently serving as Wethouder and Raadslid at Gemeente Westerkwartier since March 2022. Previously, Richard held the role of Contentspecialist at Provincie Drenthe from September 2019 to December 2023, and also served as Fractie-ondersteuner Communicatie and (Mede-) Campagneleider for Groninger Belang during the same period. In addition, Richard was the Campagneleider for VZ Westerkwartier from November 2021 to March 2022 and worked as a Communicatieadviseur at De Kompanjie from February to August 2019. Earlier journalistic experience includes a position as Journalist/Redacteur at Media Totaal Noord B.V. from February 2016 to February 2019 and a role as Programmamaker at Radio Westerkwartier from March 2015 to July 2016.
