Renate Veenstra has extensive experience in local government roles, currently serving as Programmaleider for the Kickstart program and coalitieondersteuner at Gemeente Westerkwartier since December 2018, focusing on enhancing opportunities for children and youth. Previously, Veenstra worked as Programmamanager for the Preventieprogramma Sociaal Domein and as Teamleider/coach Mens en Gezin at Gemeente Midden-Groningen, where Veenstra has been employed since January 2018, also holding a position on the bezwaarschriften committee. Veenstra’s prior roles include team leader positions at ISD Noordenkwartier, Gemeente Leek, and gemeente Wageningen, as well as a role in terugvordering at gemeente Hoogeveen and gemeente Beilen. Educational qualifications include a degree from the University of Groningen and completion of SenSolid training.
