Anam Alam is a journalist with experience in various media roles, currently serving at The New Arab since February 2024. Previously, Alam worked as a remote writer for Thred Media, contributing digital features on topics such as natural disasters, women’s rights, and social issues. Earlier experience includes a stint as a general news reporter at The Sun, where deadlines were a crucial aspect of reporting, and freelance writing for The Vegan Review, focusing on veganism and the environment. Alam also completed work experience with SUNDAY TIMES TRAVEL MAGAZINE, YOU Magazine Official, and Country Living, along with a media volunteer position at Shine, Sexual Health Clinic. Alam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from City, University of London, completed in 2021.
