Nienke Saasen is an experienced youth consultant currently working at gemeente Achtkarspelen since October 2022 and previously with YER, where roles included trainee and youth consultant from March 2022 to April 2024. Nienke has also worked at gemeente Oldambt, gemeente Eemsdelta, and GGD Drenthe, gaining extensive experience in youth services, COVID-19 response, and individual client support. With a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Hanze University and foundational education from Ubbo Emmius and Noorderpoort, Nienke specializes in various areas including youth legislation, safety protocols, and complex family dynamics, along with hands-on mentoring and the development of personalized care plans for youths with behavioral and developmental challenges.
