Susan Erdey is a seasoned professional in nonprofit management, currently serving as the Director of Communications and External Relations as well as the Director of Development at Teatown Lake Reservation since July 2018. With a mission to inspire lifelong environmental stewardship, Teatown is a nonprofit nature preserve and environmental education center in the lower Hudson Valley. Prior to this role, Susan held various program director positions at the Episcopal Church Foundation from January 2017 to April 2018, focusing on strategic resources, client services, and program evaluation. Earlier experience includes roles at Church Pension Group from 2002 to January 2017, including writer-editor and research editor, where Susan produced and edited content for diverse audiences. Susan holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from the New School-Milano Graduate School and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Religion, and Communications from Wells College.
