Florian Rival's work experience includes founding and serving as the CEO of GDevelop, a startup focused on creating an accessible game creation platform. Florian has also worked as a Software Engineer at Google, where they contributed to improving gaming on Android through various projects. Prior to that, Florian was a Software Engineer at Facebook, developing applications for managing Facebook Data Centers. Florian also worked as a Software Engineer, Deputy CTO, and Coach at BAM, where they developed cross-platform mobile apps using React Native. Florian's earlier experience includes an internship as a Full-stack Developer at Gladeye, where they co-developed a mobile application for Auckland International Airport, and an internship as a Web Developer at Theodo, where they contributed to the development of a Social Media Monitoring application.
Florian Rival completed their Preparatory courses in MP (intensive study of mathematics and physics) at Lycée Alain René Lesage from 2010 to 2012. Following that, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble from 2012 to 2015.
