Andrew Marsh has a long and varied work experience in the gaming industry. Starting in 2006, they were the Lead Gameplay Engineer at Secret Level, where they worked on the Iron Man game for Xbox 360 and PS3. The game sold millions of copies and netted tens of millions of dollars in profit. In 2008, they worked at Visual Concepts as a Senior Software Engineer and at CrowdStar as the Director of Engineering and Design. At CrowdStar, they helped it grow from an unfunded startup to a top 4 Facebook game company valued at $200M in under 2 years with no external investment. In 2015, they Co-Founded, CTO, and CPO of Interviewing.io, a two-sided engineer hiring marketplace. In 2019, they were the Director of Software Engineering at Shift Technologies, Inc. and in 2020, they were the Lead Gameplay Developer (Contractor) at Nifty Games and Lead Technical Consultant and Interim CTO at Murmuration Labs. In 2021, they were the Lead Technical Consultant at an unnamed Fortune 10 company and in 2022, they are the Lead Technical Consultant & Part-Time CTO for an unannounced startup in the E-Commerce space.
Andrew Marsh attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
