Eric Gerlach is an experienced coach and professional in the sports industry, currently serving as the Defensive Line Coach at Gavilan College since August 2023 and involved in the Athletic Department at Cabrillo College since March 2003. In addition, Eric plays a role in logistics for the San Francisco 49ers and previously directed a youth football camp for a decade. Eric's background includes a position with the Oakland Raiders, working with game day operations, and playing as a professional defensive lineman for the Hildesheim Invaders. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Science, dual concentrations in High Performance Coaching and Sports Psychology, and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Movement Science. Furthermore, Eric has supplemented education with certificates in sports industry essentials and leadership for equity, diversity, and inclusion.
