Dannielle Upton's work experience can be summarized as follows:

- From 2023 to the present, Dannielle works as a Research Laboratory Manager and Staff Scientist at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research.

- From 2019 to the present, Dannielle holds the position of Lecturer at UNSW. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Lecturer from 2019 to 2023.

- From 2018 to 2023, Dannielle worked at the Children's Cancer Institute. Dannielle continued their academic journey at the University of Sydney, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Reproductive Biology, Andrology, and Healthy Aging, completing the program from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, they furthered their expertise by attending the Frontiers in Reproduction course at the Marine Biological Laboratory.
