Jan Augste is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leading technical projects and teams within the fields of mechatronics and automation. As Engineering IT Manager at Garrett - Advancing Motion since September 2019, Jan has successfully driven the implementation of Engineering 4.0 initiatives, incorporating design process automation and advanced data analytics. Previous roles include Technical Manager at Kompan Czech Republic, where Jan contributed to product development and innovation, and Head of Design Department at EST Stage Technology, overseeing mechatronics projects and driving productivity improvements. Jan's career began with CAD automation and CNC engineering roles following the attainment of a Master's Degree and PhD in Mechatronics from Brno University of Technology.
