Daniel L. Bain is an accomplished financial professional and leader with extensive experience in asset management and board governance. As the Founder, CEO, and Chief Investment Officer of Thornmark Asset Management since 1998, Daniel has established a significant presence in the investment sector. In addition, Daniel serves as a Board Member for The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery and is a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Gardiner Museum, contributing to cultural and community development. Previous roles include serving on the investment committees of the Casey House Foundation and participating in advisory capacities with various charitable organizations. Daniel holds multiple finance-related qualifications from the CFA Institute and the Canadian Securities Institute, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Queen’s University.
