Gendi Cordero serves as the Research, Development & Innovation Director at Alpura since July 2021. Previously, Gendi held various senior roles at The Coca-Cola Company from June 2013 to July 2021, including Plant Based - LATAM R&D Sr Manager, where leadership was provided for innovation projects related to the AdeS brand, and TCCC Big Brands - LATAM R&D Sr Manager, overseeing major innovation efforts for brands like Fanta and Sprite. Prior experience includes roles as LATAM R&D Sr. Manager for the Dairy Category and a manager for Mergers & Acquisitions in R&D. Gendi's career began at Griffith Foods as a Food Scientist, followed by a research position at Universidad de Costa Rica. Educational background includes a degree in Food Technology from Universidad de Costa Rica, completed in 2005.
