Maria Hinojosa is an accomplished journalist and media executive with a diverse career spanning over three decades. As the President of The Futuro Media Group since its founding in April 2010, Maria Hinojosa has led the mission of producing multi-platform, community-based journalism that highlights the cultural richness of the American experience. Maria Hinojosa also serves as an anchor at WGBH, as well as at NPR's Latino USA since 1993, where Maria Hinojosa manages editorial direction. Prior to these roles, Maria Hinojosa was a Senior Correspondent for the Public Broadcasting Service, reporting on significant social issues and earning the Edward R. Murrow award. Previous positions include correspondent at CNN and host at WKCR-FM. Maria Hinojosa is a Barnard College alumna.
