João Serrano is an experienced professional in the hospitality industry, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Fundação Inatel since June 2009, overseeing the operational management of a network of 18 hotel units, more than 1,200 rooms, and three camping parks. As a specialist professor in Hotel Management at ISEC - Instituto Superior de Educação e Ciências since 2011, João Serrano teaches accommodation management to second-year students. Previously, João Serrano was the General Director at Al Foz Sociedade Turística lda from October 1999 to June 2009, responsible for the management of a hotel, meeting rooms, events, and catering operations. João Serrano holds a degree in Hotel Management from Universidade Internacional (1996-2000) and furthered education with a CEDE/ Idefe course on competitiveness and strategy for business development at ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management (2012-2013).
