Andrea Uchoa has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on business management and sales. Andrea is currently working as a Business Unit Director at Funcional Health Tech. Prior to this, they co-founded BCare, a specialized healthcare company focused on Patient Support Programs (PSP), where they served as the Business Director from 2016 to 2022. At BCare, they were responsible for designing and implementing customized projects to enhance patient adherence to medical treatment.

Before BCare, Andrea held various managerial roles at prominent pharmaceutical companies. Andrea worked as the National Sales Manager - Diabetes at BD from 2014 to 2016, and as the Regional Sales Manager - Multiple sclerosis at Biogen Idec from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they served as the Regional Sales Manager for Autoimmune diseases at Roche Pharmaceuticals from 2006 to 2010.

Andrea began their career at Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson, where they worked as a Sales Representative in the Primary care division from 1996 to 2001. Andrea also had experience as an Oncology Sales Representative at Astra Zeneca from 2002 to 2005.

Andrea Uchoa completed a leadership and innovation program at MIT Professional Education in 2023. In the same year, they obtained a certification in "Liderança na Inovação" from the same institution. In 2019, they studied Design Thinking at FIAP. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, Andrea pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at BSP - Business School São Paulo, specializing in Business Administration and Management.
