Duane Klein

Vice President - Commercial Banking at First State Bank

Duane Klein has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Duane began their career at KeyBank, where they served as Vice President and Relationship Manager from 1991 to 2002. Duane then joined Indiana Community Bank as Chief Credit Officer, responsible for managing the lending function and loan portfolio, as well as formulating and implementing bank-wide policies and goals. After a decade at Indiana Community Bank, Duane moved to First State Bank of Middlebury, where they currently hold the position of Vice President of Commercial Banking. In this role, they leverage their 43 years of banking experience to become a "Business Growth Strategist" for their clients, assisting them in achieving their goals with customized solutions. Alongside their banking career, Duane has also been a member of Lions Clubs International since 2003.
