Larry Wong is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in the solar and defense industries. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at FTC Solar, Inc. since July 2017, Larry has significantly contributed to the solar industry's advancements, receiving the Megawatt Award. Prior to this role, Larry patented designs for innovative tracking systems and pivoting members for solar arrays as a Senior Product Design Engineer. Larry's experience includes key engineering positions at Trayer Engineering Corporation, where mentoring junior engineers was a highlight, and Cobham, where notable achievements included a patented dual band antenna and the Sir Alan Cobham Award for Technical Innovation. Larry's career began as an Engineering Assistant at the California Department of Water Resources, complemented by a BS in Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
