Joe Hooker, CIMA®, CFP®, CAIA®, has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Joe began their career at PNC as an Investment Analyst/Trader, providing operational analysis and trading execution for various Managed Account programs. Joe then joined Lockwood Advisors, Inc. as a Regional Director, responsible for sales and marketing of Platform Managed Accounts across bank and independent channels. Following that, Joe worked at BlackRock as an Investment Management Associate, where they focused on marketing Mutual Funds and other asset management services to broker-dealers. Currently, they serve as a Regional Director at FS Investments.

Joe Hooker, CIMA®, CFP®, CAIA®, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Skidmore College, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Prior to this, they attended Malvern Preparatory School from 1994 to 1999. In terms of additional certifications, Joe obtained the CAIA Charterholder designation in May 2022 from the CAIA Association. Joe also holds the UniFi by CAIA™ Fundamentals of Alternative Investments Certificate from the same institution, which was obtained in 2024. Furthermore, Joe is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) from the CFP Board. In addition to these certifications, they have also completed the Series 63, Series 65, and Series 7 exams administered by FINRA.
