Jeff Wermers has a diverse and extensive work experience in the real estate and construction industry. Jeff started their career in 1991 as the Vice President and CFO at Genesis Group, Inc., where they played a crucial role in identifying successful projects and securing financing. In 2002, they founded Wermers Development, Inc., where they served as the President and CFO. During their tenure, they oversaw the entire development and construction process, including finance, engineering, planning, architecture, marketing, and construction. Jeff also created financial projections and managed multi-year projects. In 2016, Jeff joined Frye Building Corp. as the Controller & Construction Operations Manager. Jeff was responsible for overseeing financial operations and construction management until their departure in 2022. Additionally, in 2016, they became part of Frye Properties, Inc. and held the positions of Financial Controller, Vice President of Construction, and Chief Financial Officer.

Jeff Wermers attended James Madison University from 1984 to 1988, where they pursued a degree in Business with a focus on Finance/Economics.
