Ian Gates has extensive experience in IT leadership, currently serving as a Fractional IT Director at Freeman Clarke since October 2017. Prior to this role, Ian operated as an Interim IT Executive, focusing on IT Infrastructure Investment and Microsoft technologies. A long tenure at Capita included positions as Director of Group IT and Director of IT Operations, overseeing significant IT infrastructure for a large workforce. Earlier roles include Head of IT at NAAFI and Director of IT at NHS, along with foundational experience at Esso Petroleum. Ian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Bristol.
