Gary Parker is a seasoned user researcher with extensive experience in various research roles. Currently, Gary serves as a Staff User Researcher at FreeAgent since March 2022, previously holding the position of Senior User Researcher at Capita from November 2020 to March 2022. Notably, Gary was a Research Manager at the Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases from September 2015 to June 2020, where responsibilities included leading the standardization of core outcome metrics for mental health projects and developing a comprehensive report on a global research initiative. Gary's earlier career includes positions such as Clinical Research Manager at the Africa Health Research Institute and Research Project Manager at McCord Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Research Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Psychology & Neuropsychology and Marketing from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, as well as a UX Design certification from General Assembly.
