Piotr Maciejewski is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in machine learning and data science across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Turnitin since March 2023, Piotr focuses on AI writing detection in the edtech sector. Prior roles include Data Scientist at smartpatient, where Piotr developed analytical products for time series anomaly detection and conducted Bayesian A/B tests, and Data Scientist at Link4, where Piotr built machine learning models and automated data processing workflows. Experience also includes a Data Analyst position at Samba TV and a consultant role at TS Partners specializing in financial modeling and valuation. Piotr holds a Master's degree in Finance from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and completed a Data Science bootcamp.
