Akim Demaille is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Since July 2018, Akim has been a Software Engineer at Faveod. Prior to this, Akim contributed as a Software Engineer at Docker, Inc. from February 2017 to July 2018, focusing on decentralized storage and Docker Desktop for Mac. From May 1999 to February 2017, Akim served as a teacher and researcher at LRDE - Laboratoire de Recherche et Developpement d'EPITA, eventually becoming Head of the LRDE and managing research initiatives. Additionally, Akim has been a maintainer and contributor to several GNU projects since 1994 with the Free Software Foundation and managed development projects for the Urbi software platform at Gostai SAS between July 2006 and January 2012. Akim holds a PhD in Logics from Télécom Paris and multiple engineering degrees, including in Computer Networks and Economics, as well as in Physics and Computer Science.
