Meg Thompson has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Meg began their career at Sun Oil as an Organizational Development and Research professional from 1983 to 1985. Meg then worked at Pfizer as a Regulatory Training leader for their Industrial Engineering Team from 1985 to 1988, where they were recognized for executing the first Quality Circles in the United States Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. From 1988 to 1991, they joined AMP Incorporated as an Organizational Development and Succession Planning professional, where they developed a comprehensive training and development plan that became instrumental in the company's succession planning. Following that, they became a Principle Partner at The Thompson Group from 1991 to 2001, specializing in custom training and organizational development for clients in the Pharmaceutical, Chemical, and Insurance industries. Meg then joined Franklin Covey in 2000 as a Senior Consultant and Executive Coach, working with Fortune 50 Companies globally to enhance execution of strategic plans and improve senior leadership performance. In 2011, they became the Vice President-General Manager of Franklin Covey Education Practice, leading a North American team to introduce Human Performance Management and Education solutions to the Education market from Pre-K through Higher Ed. Meg has extensive experience in sales, coaching, facilitation, organizational development, training, and regulatory compliance across their career.
Meg Thompson completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Psychology from LaSalle University, where they studied from 1980 to 1984. Meg then pursued a Master of Science degree in Human Organizational Science from Villanova University, graduating in 1987. In 2006, Meg obtained a certification in Executive Coaching from Columbia University in the City of New York.
