George Kosteckyj is a seasoned professional in the pulp and paper sector, currently serving as the Senior Director of Smart Manufacturing at FPInnovations since March 2020. With a robust background, previous roles include Director of Coastal Fibre Supply at Paper Excellence and Director of Fibre Supply at Catalyst Paper, where responsibilities involved procuring essential materials for various operations across British Columbia. George has also held significant positions at Howe Sound Pulp and Paper Corporation, including Director of Sales and Marketing, as well as managerial roles at Howe Sound Paper Oji/Canfor, Catalyst Paper, Pacifica Paper, and MacMillan Bloedel. An educational foundation in Economics was established through a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University, earned between 1983 and 1986.
