Abu Bakarr Bangura, PhD in Law, currently serves as a Commissioner at The Law Reform Commission of Sierra Leone and holds multiple positions including Member/Secretary at the Council of Legal Education, Director at Sierra Leone Law School, and Lecturer at Fourah Bay College - University of Sierra Leone. An Adjunct Senior Lecturer at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Abu Bakarr previously contributed as a researcher and PhD candidate at UNSW. Educational credentials include a PhD in International Law and multiple Master of Laws degrees focused on Human Rights, Social Justice, and International Law, alongside a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and dual Bachelor's degrees in Law and Arts.
