Mike Zarafonetis is a seasoned User Experience Strategist currently at Four Kitchens, where responsibilities include leading Discovery and Design engagements for website projects, aligning client goals with user needs, and conducting UX research and audits. Previously, Mike served as the Coordinator of Digital Scholarship and Research Services at Haverford College, establishing programs that utilize digital tools for knowledge creation. As a Digital Scholarship Librarian, contributions were made to collaborative digital projects while working closely with IT staff. Mike also has experience as a faculty member at the University of Delaware, where a graduate-level seminar on “The Digital Museum” was designed and taught. Earlier roles include Web Exhibit Developer at the Hagley Museum and Library, focusing on interactive and user interface elements. Mike holds a PhD in History from Auburn University and a BA in Computer Science from Kalamazoo College.
