Sed Keller has a diverse range of work experience in the education field. They served as the Director of Research, Evaluation, and Assessment at the Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8 starting in 2017. Prior to that, they worked at the Colorado Department of Education as a Principal Consultant, specializing in Educator Effectiveness, leadership development, and accountability. They also worked as a Strategic Data Project Agency Fellow at Harvard University, focusing on transforming the use of data in education. Additionally, Sed worked as a Strategic Data Coach at the San Juan BOCES, supporting superintendents and district administration in Southwest Colorado. They began their career as the Science Department Chair at Farmington Municipal Schools, where they provided leadership and achieved a 100% passing rate on AP Physics exams. Throughout their career, Sed Keller has demonstrated excellent coaching, leadership, and data analysis skills.
Sed Keller earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy, Science from Emory University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Keller then pursued a Master's Degree in Education Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Denver from 2014 to 2015.
In terms of additional certifications, Keller obtained a Principal / Administrator License from the Colorado Department of Education in March 2016. In July 2010, they also acquired a Level Two Secondary License with an endorsement in Science and Information Tech Coordinator from the New Mexico Department of Public Education.
