Kathleen Epperson is a seasoned educator and curriculum specialist with extensive experience in mathematics education. Currently serving as a Math Specialist and Curriculum Writer at Emerald Education, Inc., and as a US Math Content Specialist at Third Space Learning, Kathleen has a strong background in developing and adapting elementary math content. Other roles include tutoring middle school students at Carnegie Learning, writing math performance tasks for the Council for Aid to Education, Inc., and creating video scripts for The Research Masters. Previous teaching experience spans various grades from 1st to 6th in both the United States and Costa Rica. Kathleen Epperson holds a Master of Science in Mathematics Teacher Education from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
