Emily Ekenstam Robinson

Executive Director, Technology Solutions at FOUNDATION FOR CALIFORNIA COMMUNITY COLLEGES

Emily Ekenstam Robinson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Emily is currently the Executive Director of Technology Solutions at the Foundation for California Community Colleges, a position they have held since 2013. Emily previously served as the Senior Director of Technology and Special Projects at the same organization.

Prior to their current role, Emily worked at SRA, a CSRA company, from 2009 to 2013 as the Data Sharing and Coplink Coordinator for California. In this role, they managed a statewide information-sharing program, collaborated with law enforcement agencies, and advised on best practices.

From 2007 to 2009, Emily worked as a Project Manager at the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department, where they developed and implemented a regional law enforcement information-sharing program. Emily also designed a cost-sharing model to ensure program sustainability.

Before that, Emily was a Marketing Communication Specialist at the California Dental Association from 2005 to 2006. Emily provided strategic marketing and communication planning, implemented project plans, and tracked fundraising campaigns.

Emily started their career as a Marketing Consultant from 2004 to 2005. Emily also served as an Account Executive at Eyefinity from 2001 to 2004 and as a Product Manager at Pharmaceutical Care Network from 1998 to 2001.

Emily Ekenstam Robinson's education history begins in 1991 when they attended Mt. San Antonio College, studying English. Emily then transferred to California Lutheran University in 1993 to further their studies in English. In 1994, they enrolled in California State University-Sacramento, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, which they completed in 1996. Continuing their education, Emily attended the University of California, Davis from 1999 to 2001, obtaining a Certificate of Specialized Study in Marketing and Product Development. In 2007, they returned to the University of California, Davis and obtained a Certificate in Specialized Studies in Project Management, completing it in 2014. Most recently, in 2023, they attended Wharton Executive Education for additional professional development, although the specifics of the degree or field of study are not provided.
