Yong Wang is a Principal Software Engineer at Fortinet since March 2023, with a robust background in software engineering and architecture. Prior to Fortinet, Yong served as a Staff Software Engineer at TripActions, leading the development of a fraud detection platform. As Chief Architect at CloudCarâ„¢, Yong successfully transitioned a legacy application to a reactive solution and improved organizational productivity through innovative programming strategies. Additional experience includes senior roles at ARMUS Corporation, BinWise, Klip/Dare, BlackArrow, RockYou, Vuclip, and SendMe, demonstrating extensive expertise in engineering leadership and software development. Yong holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Utah, a Master of Arts in Sociology from Peking University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Nanjing University.
