Bret Davies is an experienced professional in project controls, currently serving as Manager Project Controls at Fortescue Metals Group since October 2013. Responsible for all aspects of project deliverables related to capital projects and studies, Bret oversees project CAPEX and OPEX, scheduling, cost management, and financial analysis. Prior to this role, Bret was the Project Controls Lead for the Iron Bridge Project, where oversight included cost control, change management, and commercial analysis. Previous experience at Fluor Australia encompassed roles as Planner/Scheduler, Cost Engineer, and Estimator, with a solid foundation in estimating, cost control, and planning techniques across global projects. Bret holds a Bachelor of Engineering Honours in Electrical Power & Renewable Energy from Murdoch University.
