Nina Rones is a Senior Researcher with a PhD at Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt - FFI since January 2015, following extensive experience in military education and sociology. Prior positions include Ph.D. Candidate/Researcher at the Norwegian Defence University College and various roles in educational and leadership capacities, including Medical Sergeant in the Home Guard Rapid Reaction Force and Teacher in general subjects at Oslo municipal schools. Educational qualifications encompass a Doctor of Philosophy in Military Sociology/Sport Sociology from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences and a Master of Sport Sciences in Outdoor and Physical Education. Rones has also contributed to leadership training and program development for the Norwegian Guide and Scout Association.
