Marco Schneider is an accomplished bioengineering professional with extensive experience in research and project management. Currently serving as Head of Research at Formus Labs since February 2023, Marco has held roles as Research Manager and Research Coordinator. Previous positions include Research Fellow at Auckland Bioengineering Institute (February 2018 - February 2024) and Founder & CEO of Vivify AR (December 2016 - July 2021). Marco also contributed to education as a Project Manager and Research Coordinator at The University of Auckland, focusing on the Captions on Holodeck project, and has held roles as Lecturer at Massey University and Disabilities Reader/Writer at The University of Auckland. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and multiple degrees in biomedical fields from The University of Auckland, Marco has demonstrated expertise in medical device testing and advanced imaging techniques throughout a diverse career.
