Yi jie W. has worked in three different roles. In 2022, they joined Pure Lithium Corporation as a Research Associate. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Research and Development Intern at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they worked on a project regarding Magnesium hydride slurry as a potential fuel source for aviation. They used Cantera to simulate the combustion of the hydride mixed with hydrocarbons, analyzing the temperature, the composition and mass. The data will be presented in a future publication in the Journal of Propulsion and Power. From 2015 to 2019, Yi jie W. was an Intern at Quincy Center for Innovation.
Yi jie W. attended North Quincy High School from 2012 to 2016. Yi jie then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, graduating in 2020. Yi jie is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
