Linda Davis Watters is an experienced corporate director currently serving as an Independent Corporate Director at Foresters Financial since June 2021. Prior to this role, Watters held the position of Vice President of Government Relations at John Hancock Life Insurance Company (U.S.A.) from November 2009 to August 2018, and served as Managing Director at KPMG from November 2007 to September 2009. Watters also worked as the Commissioner for the Office of Financial and Insurance Services in the State of Michigan from 2003 to 2007, and was the President & CEO of Detroit Commerce Bank/Capitol Bancorp Ltd. from 1998 to 2003. Educational qualifications include a BA in Business Administration/Economics from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from both the University of Dayton and the Harvard Kennedy School, where a certificate in Executive Education was obtained.
